Mr Burdog - Lanche Brasileiro, Cachorro-Quente E Burger - Orlando Brazilian restaurant

Overview

Tucked away at 5427 International Dr in Orlando, Mr Burdog is one of those spots that immediately makes you feel like you’ve found something special. The moment you walk in, there’s that comforting aroma of sizzling sausages, toasted buns, and smoky sauces mingling in the air—a promise that you’re in for something indulgent. I stopped by on a humid Florida afternoon after a long day exploring nearby attractions, and honestly, I didn’t expect to enjoy a simple hot dog this much.

The first thing that stands out is the menu. It’s not overwhelming, but every item feels thought-out. From classic all-beef dogs to creative twists topped with chili, cheese, and caramelized onions, you can tell they’ve perfected the balance between flavor and fun. I tried their signature loaded dog—grilled to perfection with a light char that added a smoky depth. Paired with crisp fries and an ice-cold drink, it’s the kind of comfort food that instantly boosts your mood. The staff mentioned they source their sausages locally, which probably explains the freshness that sets them apart from typical diner fare.

What impressed me even more was how family-friendly the place felt. The layout is casual—neon lights, cozy booths, and upbeat music playing just loud enough to give it energy without drowning conversation. You’ll find families, tourists, and even a few locals grabbing a quick bite. For those exploring Orlando’s International Drive, it’s a refreshing stop where you can recharge without dealing with the rush of big-name chains.

From a foodie’s perspective, consistency is what defines a good diner, and this one nails it. On my second visit, I went for their “Crispy Chicken Dog,” which comes wrapped in a golden crust and drizzled with tangy sauce. It’s comfort food reinvented—simple yet surprisingly elegant in taste. According to a 2023 report by the National Restaurant Association, 64% of customers value innovation in casual dining menus, and this place clearly understands that trend. Their limited-time specials keep things interesting, giving you a reason to return just to see what’s new.

If you’re someone who enjoys variety, the sides here deserve their own spotlight. Their onion rings are perfectly seasoned, and the hand-cut fries could easily pass for a meal on their own. There’s also a small dessert section—think soft-serve cones and milkshakes that remind you of old-school diners. It’s these nostalgic touches that make the experience complete. You can sense the owner’s passion in every detail, from the carefully curated playlist to the spotless counters.

What gives this spot extra credibility is how many locals recommend it online. Reviews consistently highlight the quality of the food and the friendly staff. When I chatted with one of the regulars, he said he’s been coming here for years, claiming they “never mess up an order.” That level of trust doesn’t come easily—it’s earned over countless meals served just right. And considering Orlando’s competitive dining scene, that reputation says a lot.

In terms of accessibility, the restaurant’s location is perfect. It’s near popular attractions like Universal Studios and the Orlando International Premium Outlets, making it easy to find whether you’re driving or walking. The parking is free and plentiful, a small but welcome detail in an area where that’s not always the case.

What ties it all together is the sense of authenticity. This isn’t just another tourist stop; it’s a place built on genuine care for the food and the people who eat it. Whether you’re craving a late-night snack or a casual lunch with friends, the atmosphere makes you want to linger a bit longer. Every bite feels like a reminder that comfort food, when done right, doesn’t need to be complicated. It just needs heart—and that’s exactly what you’ll find here.

My Churrasco Burger was excellent. It was a blend of ingredients that go really well together. I can’t wait to try something else from their extensive menu. Go there hungry because the portions are large, but make sure you eat dessert first, if not, you won’t have room for it.

Discovered this nice little restaurant with a an wide variety of items. Service was very good and you can customize your order anyway you want. Made fresh as ordered. Hamburgers with fries and rings with a strawberry shake made for a nice meal. Enjoy!

Absolutely blown away by Burdog – hands down the most amazing Brazilian hot dog spot you’ll ever find! From the moment you walk in, the place is spotless and inviting, with a super clean, modern vibe that makes you feel right at home. The staff? Incredibly warm, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what they do! Now let’s talk about the food… it’s on another level. Every single item on the menu is bursting with flavor and creativity. The hot dogs are next-level delicious – perfectly cooked, topped with unique, bold ingredients that somehow all work together like magic. You can’t go wrong no matter what you order. And the milkshakes? Absolutely divine. Creamy, rich, and packed with flavor – they’re the perfect treat to top off your meal. (maltine shake is out of this world) Whether you’re a first-timer or a regular, Burdog will blow your mind every single time. A must-visit gem. You’ll be dreaming about this food for days.

My favorite hot dog in Orlando! It is so delicious! They have pressed hot dogs, pressed burguers and gourmet burguers. As well as açaí ! Milkshakes, juices, appetizers. We had my favorite of all, Calabresa Dog with Calabresa Sausage! My boyfriend had Crazy Burger! I love how they put a low of fillings, a lot of cheese! We also had açaí and onion rings! Everything was perfect ! The place was full but the food came fast. They have indoor and outdoor seating! It is beautiful, clean. They have free parking in front. The staff is also really nice. I have been going to get their hot dogs since they opened a foodtruck, and it is amazing to see how the business grows and improve! They deserve it.
